War Memorial Trust.

On April 28th 1920 William Alexander Hunt, the
Chief Donor of the War Memorial Cross settled
on the Rector and Churchwardens for the
time being of the Parish of Headbourne Worthy
One Hundred pounds two and a 1/2 percent
Consilidated Stock for the following purposes:
"The Trustees shall for ever hereafter recieve the
income of the trust fund and shall therewith
keep the memorial cross in good and substantial
repair and in particular shall see that the names
thereon inscribed are kept lightly defined so that
they may be at all times a lasting record of
those in memory of whom the Memorial Cross
has been erected."
